Sign up for our Troop 205 BRAND NEW McMorris Lodge Camping WeekendMarch 22-24, 2024
At Baiting Hollow Scout Camp 1774 Sound Ave, Calverton, NY 11933
with sleeping accommodations in the McMorris Lodge or tent camping – New Troop Scouts, and Leaders, please come and join us for a great and wonderful Campout! We will be signing up to use the rifle range on Saturday for Scouts who are 12+ years old – subject to availabilities at the camp. Our new Scouts will be working on their "Scout" Rank Advancement and also earning their Totin’Chip and Fir’m Chit Awards – and are encouraged to attend.

Leaving |
Great River Fire Department, River Road, Great River – rear Parking Lot at 6:30pm, Friday, March 22, 2024. Please be at the Firehouse at 6:00pm, for the 6:30pm departure. |

Returning |
Around 10am on Sunday, March 24, 2024. |

Cost |
$25. per person for the Cracker Barrel Friday night, dessert on Saturday night, and camp cost, plus $25. Cash for the Patrol food for the weekend = $50. Scouts and Leaders, please bring $25 in cash for Patrol Cooking to the March 19th Troop Meeting. |

Dress/Packing |
Class "A" Uniform for the Trip out to camp on Friday and return on Sunday and warm street clothes the remainder of the weekend.
Sleeping bag, warm clothes, warm winter & lighter jacket, hat, gloves, boots, hiking shoes/boots and extra pair of shoes. Backpacks preferred since we will need to hike in all your personal gear to the Cabin and lean-to site. Camp chair also suggested. Please also bring Mess kit (washable plate, eating utensils, and cup). |

Accommodations |
Our newest Scouts and fathers are in the McMorris Lodge on a first come, first served basis until the trip deadline date or when the total of 40 Scouts/Father’ssign up – then the rest of those signing up will be in tents. Please sign up early toenhance getting your preferred selection! |
